Specific Expertise:
Under contract A, Corrpro supported the Marine Corps Corrosion Protection and Control (CPAC) Program to improve the readiness of Marine Corps vehicles and equipment by reducing or eliminating maintenance costs due to corrosion. From the cost of corrosion study the windshield wiper assembly was identified as one of the candidate components for evaluation. Discussions with Marine Corp System Command (MCSC) proved the need to identify an engineering solution for the corrosion problems related to windshield wiper assemblies on USMC vehicles that will meet the USMC goals for reduced maintenance, reduced cost, and improved readiness.
