Specific Expertise:
Under contract A, Corrpro was tasked to develop the Air Combat Command (ACC) Standards for Protective Coatings of Steel and Concrete as a technical guide for assessing the condition of coatings on various structures at all Air Force facilities. The assessment guide allows users to gather data and information about coating system conditions, which later can be analyzed to make informed decisions about coating maintenance and repair. The guide also provides currently available (approved) coating systems and application techniques that maintenance engineers can specify during repairs.

Under contract B, Vision Point Systems supports the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) corrosion control branch in several key functional areas such as: QA for the NAVSEA preservation team program, Handheld QA tool development, electro-mechanical device prototyping, and project management support. The effort involves performing onsite QA on contractor projects, documentation of QA records, and reporting QA status to the government. In addition a QA tool for field data gathering is being developed. The QA tools allow inspectors to travel into the field and collect real-time QA data that can be uploaded to a web database.
